Unity scores Mike Capps, Epic’s former president, as an advisor
Former Epic Games president Mike Capps has joined Unity as an advisor to the company's recently installed CEO, John Riccitiello. In that role, he will help drive the direction of the popular game engine's development, and communicate the company's vision to its developers — and help the new CEO understand their goals.

Arma 3 Is Getting An Expansive Vietnam Campaign DLC
Of the many military sims that are available to gamers, the Arma series probably takes its source material most seriously. Now, a third-party developer is using the game’s suite of tools to create S.O.G. Prairie Fire, a serious and realistic recreation of the Vietnam war.
The expansion is being built by developers Savage Game Design within Arma 3, as reported by Kotaku, and is basically its own complete game. The DLC will launch complete with a narrated single-player campaign, new single-player and multiplayer scenarios, and a multiplayer co-op campaign.

Markiplier Takes Lead Role, Director's Chair In Iron Lung Horror Film Adaptation
YouTuber Markiplier has entered production for his upcoming horror film Iron Lung, which is based on his own screenplay. Deadline was first to report.
The film is being shot in Austin, Texas, and Markiplier is self-financing the project. Based on the 2022 submarine horror game of the same name by David Szymanski, plot details remain tightly under wraps. Markiplier is directing and also serving as a producer on the project, along with Will Hyde and Jeff Guerrero. Caroline Rose Kaplan (The Plot Against America) will star opposite Markiplier.
